There are only a handful of things that can leave me truly heartbroken, and one of them is seeing a starving, stray puppy who can’t do anything to help himself. Many people have the opportunity to offer some food and water, or call for animal rescuers to help, but instead, they just walk past and…

My heart breaks for all the innocent pups who have been mistreated and let down by their owners. Instead of giving them all the love in this world, their cruel owners hurt them and the pups’ hearts become overwhelmed with fear. These canines lack love – the only thing that can chase away their fears….

Rescuing dogs is never an easy task, especially when they are frightened. This is usually caused by continuous abuse from their owners or people on the street. Encountering abandoned creatures in distressing conditions is an unfortunately common occurrence and reality faced by those who care for animals.  Although, in many states across the country, it is illegal to abandon an animal, regrettably, it still occurs.  The animal shelter in Lewisburg, Tennessee, was astounded when someone discarded a cardboard box right at their…

Dogs are known to be very durable animals, and they can survive for long periods of time in harsh environments.
