Demi had already proven what kind of mother she was.
While living on the streets of California, the devoted dog did everything she could to protect her tiny puppies and keep them close.

The Good Samaritan quickly transported the small family to Pet Rescue Solutions in South El Monte, California.
At the shelter, Demi and her two surviving puppies were placed together inside a kennel. Still shaken from the ordeal, Demi struggled with fear and needed time to recover from the trauma she had endured.
The staff worked patiently to comfort the mother and her babies, surrounding them with kindness and gentle care. Soon afterward, they were moved into a foster home where they could begin to heal in a safe environment.
With affection and patience, Demi’s sweet personality began to emerge. Her smiles grew wider each day as she slowly learned to trust again.
Not long after, her puppies were adopted into loving forever homes. Demi beamed with pride as she watched them leave for their new lives.
A video shared by the rescue captured Demi’s radiant smile as her pups went off with their families. It was as if she understood they would never again face hunger, cold nights, or danger on the streets.
