Dog Dumped In A Small California Neighborhood Waited For Owner To Come Back For Days, So Someone Finally Intervened

Sometimes, people who do not want to care for their dogs will decide to dump them in the most remote areas because they want them to starve.

It’s a very cruel thing to do, but people who do this just don’t have any empathy. On the other hand, there are people who will also abandon their dogs, but they choose to do it more discreetly.

Some leave them in a highly populated area where they believe that someone will help them eventually, and they’ll usually do it at night so they are not seen.

In this story, a pup was left in a nice neighborhood in California, but it would take quite a while before anyone actually helped her.

She Finally Found Help

After being dumped in a nice neighborhood, this sweet dog just decided to lie down on the pavement and wait. She didn’t understand what had happened yet.

She thought that her beloved owner would be back for her, but that was never going to happen. She was abandoned.

The people who lived in that area didn’t really seem to care for the dog. It’s possible the owner abandoned her there because people might help her.

The dog roamed around the area in hopes of finding some food because time was going by and no one was helping her. At night, she would even sleep under cars to stay dry.

Anytime someone tried to get close to her, she would get so scared that she just took off running in the opposite direction.

She didn’t want to leave because she was still waiting for her owner. Eventually, someone took pity on her and gave her food and water.

This saved her life and she was doing a lot better, but she needed more. At one point, she decided to take shelter in someone’s backyard.

She Was Just So Exhausted

It was the woman who gave her food and water. She made a little bed for her so she could hide from the rain.

Then, the rescuer, Suzette Hall, arrived to help her, but she was really afraid of her. Pretty much any human would spook her. She only got near humans when she had to eat, but would pull away when anyone got close.

One night, she was so exhausted that she just fell asleep on her little bed and that’s when the California rescuer took her chance to save the dog.

Hall placed a humane trap nearby with hot dogs inside. When she woke up, she just walked inside the trap and that was it.

This poor dog had finally been saved. She no longer has to worry about food, or shelter. She will be taken care of. The nightmare is over.

Hopefully, soon, she will be placed on an adoption list, and I genuinely believe that she will find someone who will give her the love she couldn’t get from her former owner.
