California Woman Was Devastated After Spotting Dog Tied To A Sign And Left With A Heartbreaking Note

Dogs are known to be friendly to pretty much everyone they meet and finding a friend is really no trouble to them most of the time.

When it comes to humans, they usually get attached to one or a few people they meet in their life, but they are capable of loving just about anyone.

Still, even pups can experience sadness when starting over their lives with someone new and that is not something that should just be ignored.

The bonds they form are very important and constantly changing homes is bad for any pup, even if they might initially seem happy.

When this woman received a call about a dog tied to a sign next to a park in California, she was shocked to learn the pup’s full story.

After Erica Loring interfered and went to help the abandoned dog, she noticed something odd. The pup wasn’t just abandoned, there was also a note there.

The dog looked as happy as ever to finally see a friendly face and his tail was wagging the whole time she was with him.

Erica opened the note and it read: “Just got him and it was too much for me. Nice dog. Can’t keep him and the original owner doesn’t want him back. Please help.

After this, the kind woman didn’t waste a moment. She took the dog into her car and just drove straight back home to figure out the next steps.

Since she had fostered countless dogs before, this wasn’t something new for her. She had inquired if anyone else could step in and help, but no one was available.

So, she contacted San Diego Humane Society, which was a no-euthanasia shelter, and she dropped him off there. They were going to take good care of him.

Amazing News For Juniper

During his stay at the shelter in California, Erica constantly visited the dog, now named Juniper, and she would constantly update her followers on his story.

Naturally, she and the other rescuers tried to find a foster home for him because his stray hold time was expiring.

One family who was supposed to take him in was no longer available, so Erica thought that it would be a good idea if she stepped in, in the meantime.

As one might expect, this made Juniper a very happy boy. He was already used to seeing his rescuer every day and he would love to continue his life with her, even if it’s just for a little bit.

Then, out of the blue, an amazing family stepped forward and decided to adopt Juniper. It seems like everything aligned perfectly for this to happen.

They took him in and his whole life changed overnight. Juniper was now Duke, and he is thriving in his new home and is surrounded by the kindest people he ever met.

Erica updated her followers on Instagram and everyone was just thrilled to see that he finally made it. Even though Duke has had bad luck with his previous owner, his new family will never abandon him.
