For street dogs, clinging together is close to brotherhood.
You don’t have siblings. You don’t have a safe shelter. You don’t have anything that even remotely reminds you of stability. All you have is your furry friend who means the world. That’s why it’s particularly heartbreaking to watch street pups part ways during rescue missions.
This time, however, was different.
When Suzette Hall, a long-time rescuer from Southern California, and her friend, Mary, received a call about a trio of dogs abandoned in an alley, they immediately sprang into action with one goal: to save every single one of them together!
They Only Had Each Other

A woman named Mysi Anne was shocked when she spotted three dogs in an alley near her house in California. Given their fear of people and the fact that they appeared in the neighborhood out of nowhere, it was quite easy to assume all of them were abandoned.
“Three little babies dumped in an alley. They literally stuck together like glue. They only had each other,” Hall wrote on Facebook.
She knew the dogs couldn’t fend for themselves for much longer. Although stuck together like glue, they needed help as soon as possible to have a fighting chance. So, she contacted Hall, the founder of Logan’s Legacy, and her friend, Mary.

The two arrived at the scene prepared for a long, exhausting rescue mission. Hall had only one humane trap with her and knew the dogs were scared of people, which made her assumption valid. But, she couldn’t be more wrong.
“They were scared and would run if you tried to get them. I only had one trap with me because my other one got stolen. So one by one we got them safe. Each one wanted to be with the other ones,” Hall added.
As soon as she set up the trap, the dogs, one by one, started entering it.
These two girls and one boy were extremely hungry, and finding delicious hot dogs inside the trap was enough to put all their trust in hoomans.
The good thing was, they were right to do so. After a tough life on the streets for who knows how long, they finally had a safe place to be and someone to care for them.
Hall and Mary slowly loaded them into the car, driving off to a better start.
Off To A Better Life

At the end of the day, it was so rewarding to see these three ‘street siblings’ snuggled up to each other. They were finally safe and were able to sleep without being constantly worried about potential danger.
“They literally just snuggled up to each other, just like glue. Sweet little babies won’t have to stay in that alley ever again,” Hall concluded.
After being taken to the vet for their first checkup, there’s only one thing left for these resilient pups: finding a forever home.
After everything they have been through, there’s no doubt these sweet furballs deserve to have a place to call their own. One where there will be nothing but laughs, endless playtime, and unconditional love.
