A joyful dog named Scotty has completely fallen in love with the winter weather, spending his days bouncing through the snow and warming his mom’s heart.
Ringing the Bell for Winter

For most people, a heavy Wisconsin snowfall means staying indoors and keeping warm.
But for a sweet dog named Scotty, the arrival of winter meant it was time to play.
He quickly learned how to ask for exactly what he wanted, making sure his mom knew whenever he was ready for his next frosty adventure.
“He will bang the bell just to go outside,” his mom explained, noting his determination to get back out into the chilly air.
Smiling Ear to Ear

Once the door opened, Scotty was in his absolute element.
He didn’t care if he was getting all wet; the winter wonderland was his favorite place to be.
“He was bouncing around, jumping through the snow, smiling ear to ear,” his mom shared.
Even when she begged him to come back inside, Scotty was perfectly content to stay outdoors and watch the world go by.
Braving the Freezing Cold

The winter had brought quite a lot of snow, making it a rough season for many people in the area.
Scotty, however, just lit up at the sight of it.
His mom found herself having to bundle up in a hat, gloves, and heavy winter gear just to keep him company.
Despite the freezing temperatures, she loved being out there with him, watching his pure joy.
Searching for Leftover Snow

As the season shifted and the weather began to warm, Scotty faced a difficult transition.
The thick blankets of white began to disappear, leaving only small patches behind.
“When the snow would melt, he would have a hard time,” his mom recalled.
Determined to keep the fun going, Scotty would actively seek out the remaining snow spots, trying to enjoy every last bit of winter.
The Best Kind of Distraction

Whether he was playing in a blizzard or hunting for the last icy patch, Scotty’s happiness was contagious.
“It’s just such a joyful moment to watch him be that excited,” his mom said.
He brought a sense of wonder to the otherwise dreary winter months.
As his mom lovingly put it, “He has taken over my life in the best way.”
A Bond That Warms the Heart

When Scotty finally agreed to come inside, his energy shifted from playful to incredibly affectionate.
If they weren’t outside in the snow, they were usually curled up together taking a cozy nap.
Even on her hardest days, Scotty would curl right up into her, offering endless comfort after she returned from work.
“I truly love him like he’s my child,” she shared, grateful for every snowy adventure and quiet cuddle they share.
