It doesn’t take much to make a dog happy. To quote Owen Wilson: “A dog has no use for fancy cars, or big homes, or designer clothes. A water-logged stick will do just fine.”
And I think this quote is just beautiful. It perfectly encapsulates how simple our furry friends are and how they just love being around us.
We know for a fact that even the simplest things will brighten their day, so it’s important for us to be kind in return and show them the love they always deserve.
When this kind volunteer from Washington first decided to help out a husky who needed a day out, she decided to surprise him with a gift and his reaction was priceless.
He Loves The Ice Cream

Before Ozzy was first taken in by a shelter from Washington, he spent most of his days outside and it made him very afraid to try new things.
However, this would soon change after he met a kind volunteer named Julie Saraceno. She loved helping dogs, and Ozzy had spent a long time in the shelter, so she decided to take him out for the day.
During their trip, they had a fun time, but Julie had one special surprise for Ozzy. She was going to take him for an ice cream.

Considering how rough his life was before he was taken into the shelter, he never tried something like this, so it was going to be interesting to see his reaction.
Julie gave him some ice cream. At first, he just looked at it for a little bit, and then he dug in. Julie could tell he was enjoying it because he was starting to eat faster.
Then, he just took the ice cream cone from her hands and finished it. It was just adorable to see his reaction and Julie emphasized that his future family will have to take him out for an ice cream after this funny moment.
Words Of Support For Ozzy

Shortly after posting the video on her Instagram page, Julie received a lot of support in the comments for taking Ozzy for a day out.
One person commented: “How is it possible that Ozzy is still there? Look at that precious wee face. Absolutely stunning dog.”
Unfortunately, some dogs struggle more than others when it comes to adoption, and there can be any number of reasons for that. It’s important to not jump to any conclusions.
Another person said: “I love when a pup’s eyes go bug-eyed when they get something super tasty like ice cream.”

Yeah, Ozzy’s reaction looked really fitting. It’s even more wholesome because he never tried anything like this before.
Lastly, somebody commented: “That family better have some tubs of ice cream ready!”
Whoever ends up adopting him will have to make sure that he gets enough ice cream, or else he’s going to have a problem with them.
All jokes aside, this story showed us in a wholesome way why it’s important to treat our dogs with respect and show them kindness by buying them even the simplest things. They don’t ask for much, and all it takes is an ice cream to make them happy.
