We all know that dogs are extremely capable of pulling pranks on humans, whether it’s intentional or not. Either way, it’s always hilarious.
It’s up to us whether we want to fight back and pull a prank on them. Personally, I think it’s sometimes warranted, but I am not sure if I could bring myself to do it.
Cutting a treat in half and then passing it off as two is an old strategy, and that might be worth it to see if your dog notices.
However, what this Texas owner did to his dog was just hysterical. He brought a guest over to the house, and his pup got very excited, but what happened next shocked the dog to his core.
How Do I Get In?!
It was an ordinary day for Jacob Aguilar, who went to see his uncle after a relaxing trip to Hawaii. When he got to the door, his uncle’s Golden Retriever was the first one to greet him.
As it can be expected, the pup was very excited to see a visitor, so she kind of didn’t know how to react. She ran around Aguilar, only for something stunning to happen.
The door to the house closed, and the dog was still outside the house. She looked at the door with confusion, like she was still processing what had happened.
She got closer to the door with the expectation that they would open it, but nothing happened. Then, she ran around the house to see if anyone would notice her.
Still, no results. Shortly after this hilarious moment, Jacob and his uncle let the dog back in the house. She had a betrayed look on her face.
She was baffled that they would do something like this to her, but they couldn’t contain their laughter after witnessing what happened on the camera footage.
It Was Just A Prank
When the short prank was over, Aguilar thought it would be even more hilarious if he posted the camera footage on his TikTok channel, so other people could witness it.
One person commented: “Next time you come, just know she won’t be as happy to see you”
Yeah, it’s almost certain that the dog probably won’t have the same reaction after this massive betrayal. I mean, how could she?
Another person said: “But how long did it take until you guys noticed that she’s still outside and apologized to her?”
Judging by the look this Texas owner gave to the dog, I can assume that it was an intentional prank on the dog to see how she would react.
Lastly, somebody commented: “I sure hope you gave her all of the apologies and made it up to here with lots of love, treats, and a pup cup.”
Yeah, after going through this much stress, she deserves all the treats in the world, and I hope that her owners and Aguilar gave her just that.
Still, I have never seen dogs on the other side of pranks. It’s really funny to see how they react after realizing that their favorite human has tricked them in a funny way.
