Meira’s Heartbreaking Beginning
When rescuers first discovered Meira, she was only a small puppy living with her mother and siblings in an abandoned house.
The Minnesota shelter team who brought them out believed the previous owners had run some kind of puppy mill before walking away and leaving the dogs behind.
Meira’s mom looked frail and struggled to care for nine puppies, so the rescuers acted quickly and got them all to safety.
