Well, in this story, we will talk about breeds and how one owner from South Dakota accidentally found out something interesting about her dog’s breed.
He Is Not A Rottweiler?
When Ash Monson first adopted Pluto, there was zero question about his breed. This puppy was a Rottweiler… or was he?
Pluto spent months in a loving home where he grew up with the people who loved him so much. He lived an amazing life.
Coincidentally, as he was growing up, Ash noticed that he was starting to look less like a Rottweiler and more like something else.
However, Ash knew the truth the whole time. She often noticed that people were addressing Pluto the wrong way. Everyone thought he was a Rottweiler.
Well, not really. The South Dakota owner decided to record a humorous video about Ash with a caption that said: “When your rottie puppy starts looking less and less like a rottweiler”.
I mean, can you really blame people for not knowing? The truth was simple: Pluto was a Beauceron. It was a fairly unique French breed and they look similar to Rottweilers.
What Does The Internet Say?
After the clip about Pluto’s breed went viral, it was incredible to see just how many people went to the comments to express their thoughts.
Some people were even trying to let Ash know that Pluto was a Beauceron, even though she already knew that fact.
One person commented: “I don’t know what a beauceron is, but it looks like a lab with rottie paint job.”
Well, that is certainly an interesting way to describe the breed to people who have never seen a Beauceron. I’ll keep it in mind.
Another person said: “I’ve been a vet for 6 years and he’s not a Rottweiler he’s definitely a cutie patootie.”
As someone who is not a vet, I definitely agree with this opinion and that is the only thing that really matters. Pluto is just the sweetest puppy ever.
Lastly, somebody commented: “My Rottweiler was half airedale terrier. He looks like a chupacabra now.”
Well, now we know that this is not an uncommon occurrence. Still, no matter what breed the dog is, they all deserve a family who will love and care for them.
Even if they might not turn out to be what you expect, they will always be there for you and it’s important to remember that.
Pluto is a very good boy who loves his mom very much and his owner would not give him up for anything in the world.
