For most owners, having a dog is one of the most incredible life experiences ever. If only more people shared that sentiment.
It’s a problem because a lot of people who do not like dogs end up adopting one so they can use them for protection or breeding purposes.
These dogs usually end up living in the captivity of their owners and they are neglected and starved most of the time. It’s an insanely cruel way to treat a dog, but some people do it.
When the pups outlive their usefulness, they end up abandoned on the street. Such was the case for this young puppy who was just cruelly left at a parking lot in Michigan by his owner.
Shocking CCTV Footage
After the sad pup was abandoned by his owner, he did not even have a clue as to what happened. He was confused. He saw his owner leaving and didn’t know how to react.
The pup was beginning to see what was happening. He was being left on his own. It was an incredibly heartbreaking thing to see.
However, all hope was not lost yet. Luckily for this puppy, a group of kind rescuers from Calhoun County Animal Center in Michigan received information about the pup and decided to help.
They came to the scene and were shocked to see what was in front of them. The puppy was freezing in the snowy weather.
He had no food and was likely starving. The cold was really bad, so he was freezing and needed help as soon as possible.
The Michigan rescuers quickly took the puppy, now named Tiger, placed him in their vehicle, and drove straight back to the shelter where they would help him.
Once he was there, the rescuers gave him food and treated him. He was doing pretty well, all things considered. He will likely be able to find a home sometime soon.
Jack’s New Big Family
The rescuers were also able to recover the CCTV footage from the parking lot where they found the puppy and what they witnessed shocked them.
They had no idea just how it all went down and they were heartbroken after realizing how cruelly his owner dumped him on the street.
Nevertheless, it was now time for the pup to rejoice because his rescuers found a wonderful home for him and he was so happy to meet his new family. They also renamed him to Jack.
His new mom, named Laura Ostrom, was really sad after hearing Jack’s story. Regardless, she said that he was adjusting really well to his new life and he was not alone.
The family had another pup, named Rayla, who was also a rescue, and the two of them got along just great. There are also at least three more dogs in the house, so it’s safe to say that Jack will never get bored.
Even though Jack has gone through a lot as a puppy, it’s incredibly wholesome to know that he is now living his best life in a wonderful family with many siblings who will keep him company.
