Virginia Couple Looking To Adopt An Adorable Golden Retriever Knew They Couldn’t Leave His Brother Behind

The bond between siblings is the most powerful thing you will ever come across.

Apart from it giving you a built-in best friend for life, you also have somebody who will stick by your side through thick and thin.

They’re your partner in crime, your first rival, and your forever teammate. No matter how much time passes or how far apart you might be, that connection will always stay rock-solid. Siblings just get you in a way no one else can.

This is precisely why Cooper and Tucker had to remain by each other’s side.

Together Forever

After their incredible owner passed away, two Golden Retriever brothers found themselves adjusting to a new chapter in life. The owner’s devoted husband took them in and tried to provide them with the comfortable life they once lived.

However, taking care of two pups is hard work. Knowing that he couldn’t give them what they needed, the man decided that it would be for the best if he surrendered them to a shelter that would find them a loving home.

After doing some intense research, he noticed that the Greene County Animal Shelter in Virginia would be the perfect fit for them. After talking to the staff, he agreed to bring them over under one condition – they mustn’t be separated.

“He wanted them to be adopted together but we couldn’t guarantee that. I was told, when he found out they were adopted together, he was super happy to hear that as he loved them so much but felt it was best for them,” the shelter said in an interview

Start Of Something New

After arriving at the Virginia shelter, the two brothers needed some time to adjust to their new environment. At first, they were extremely scared and anxious and heavily relied on each other.

But, the shelter faced another issue. Usually, adopters didn’t opt for adopting two pups at once, especially not pups of that size, but nevertheless, they remained hopeful.

And, it sure paid off when they received a phone call from a loving couple who fell absolutely in love with the brothers, deciding to adopt them both.

“These two brothers will now get to live happily ever after TOGETHER!!! Many thanks to this amazing family who has been wanting to add a golden retriever to their family and happened to just add two,” it wrote, saying the couple had “felt these two boys needed them and they were there to help,” the shelter wrote in a Facebook post

Finally, Cooper and Tucker were able to lower their guards and enjoy life’s wonders once more.

Not only were they a part of a loving family, but they also remained together, filling their hearts with love and their brains with all the playdates that they were going to have!
