A dedicated rescuer battles the freezing rain to save a tiny puppy, leading to a heartwarming family reunion and a lifelong promise to help other dogs in need.
A Freezing Discovery
It was a particularly cold and rainy day when a tiny life hung in the balance. A small puppy was found soaking wet and shivering uncontrollably in the harsh weather.

This smart mother had found shelter in an abandoned house to prepare for her babies. Selina started feeding her daily to ensure she was strong enough to give birth.
When the puppies finally arrived, Selina carefully searched the scary, abandoned building. Eventually, she heard the hungry cries of the little ones and located their hiding spot.
A Heartbreaking Goodbye
Among the litter, one tiny puppy stood out from the rest. She was significantly smaller and seemed underdeveloped compared to her siblings.
Selina’s gut told her something was terribly wrong, so she took the fragile pup, whom she named Fiorella, home to bottle-feed and keep warm on her chest.
Tragically, the vet confirmed Fiorella had a severe birth defect, and there was nothing they could do. The tiny puppy passed away peacefully on Selina’s chest, surrounded by love in her final hours.
A Promise Kept
Heartbroken but determined, Selina made a promise to little Fiorella. She vowed to keep all of her siblings healthy and safe.
Since the mother dog was still too wild to catch, Selina visited the abandoned house twice a day. She cooked for the growing puppies, cleaned their space, and even brought the vet to them.
As the puppies grew more adventurous, the abandoned house was no longer safe. Selina made the crucial decision to take the puppies in, though she still allowed them to visit their wild mama for snuggles.
