“It’s hard, and it will wear you down over time,” Audrey admitted. But seeing the life and joy return to a rescued dog’s eyes makes every difficult moment worth it.

That same relentless dedication is what kept Audrey searching for the pregnant dog in the woods. After patiently tracking her, the persistence finally paid off.
She managed to secure the terrified mother-to-be before the cold could claim her puppies. “I caught her,” Audrey announced with immense relief.
