I know that dogs are very social animals and playing around with other pups or humans is something that makes life more fulfilling.
That’s essentially why a lot of owners either adopt more dogs, or they take them to a doggy daycare where they can have fun and make new friends.
In fact, I think it’s safe to say that some dogs like it so much that they get really sad to go home because it means they won’t be able to hang out with their friends until the next day.
This adorable pup from Virginia took it a bit far when he did something that shocked the doggy daycare staff.
He’s So Excited To Be There
It was a productive day for the staff working at Dogtopia Springfield who were closing up the daycare when they noticed something strange.
A dog was rushing from the parking lot to the doorstep and all of this was caught on a security camera. It was hard to see the dog from the camera, so they rushed outside.
They opened the door only for the dog to run inside and start playing. In a moment, they realized who this dog actually was.
It was Sampson. He was a dog who was going to their daycare for about three years at that point, so seeing him surprised them.
He usually only goes to the daycare once a week, but it’s clear from this display that he wishes he could go more often. His wish might get fulfilled after this. Who knows?
His Owners Were So Relieved
The staff were confused about how he got there. He was supposed to be home. Shortly after, it became clear to them that he had escaped from his backyard and then rushed to the daycare.
This was no small trip either. His owners were starting to panic, but then they quickly realized where the pup might actually be.
According to Sampson’s dad, Mike, this was not the first incident where something like this happened. There were at least two before this and they were a lot scarier.
Dogtopia staff contacted the owners almost immediately and they rushed to pick him up once they knew that he was safely with his favorite people from the daycare.
Once they picked him up, they let out a huge sigh of relief. The Virginia owners were still in shock after realizing that Sampson actually memorized the path to the daycare.
His owners made a promise to take him to the daycare soon again because they realized that he likes playing and hanging out with his friends so much.
