Snow, a sweet pup from Texas, is one of the dogs who experienced heartbreak and overwhelming fear when she was left tied to a pole.
She felt so helpless as she tried to break free and realized that she couldn’t.
All Snow could do was wait and hope that someone would show her compassion and save her from the miserable situation she was in.
A Hero Jumps To Her Aid
When Kiersten, a dog rescuer and a foster mom, received a call about the pup who was tethered to a pole, she sprang into action.
She drove to the location and saw a heartbreaking sight. The chained dog was looking at her with the saddest eyes as if she was pleading with her to help her.
Kiersten was devastated. She untied Snow and promised her that everything would be fine.
She placed her in the backseat of her car.
Snow bent her head and kept her tail tucked. She was relieved to be rescued, but she needed time to trust humans.
Her rescuer brought her home and fostered her.
At first, Snow was nervous and anxious due to the trauma she experienced. She refused to leave her kennel, the only place where she felt safe.
When Kiersten tried to pet her, she would withdraw to the corner of her kennel and avoid making eye contact with her.
Snow’s Heart Heals
Her foster mom was extremely patient with her. She talked to her a lot and spent time with her until Snow got used to her presence.
After some time, the doggo felt safe in her foster home and finally left her kennel.
When Snow let her foster mom stroke her, she felt loved and cherished for the very first time in her life. She couldn’t get enough cuddles and started sleeping in Kiersten’s bed.
Her eyes shone brightly, and she wagged her tail with excitement. At last, she enjoyed the comfort of her foster home.
Kiersten shared the video on TikTok that shows Snow’s transformation from a dejected and scared pup to an overjoyed and trusting dog.
People were thrilled to see what a healing effect love had on the once terrified dog.
Yet, nobody was happier and more excited than Snow, who felt like a brand-new pup, ready to start a new chapter in her life and leave her troubled past behind.
The adorable dog is now available for adoption through an independent rescue run by Kiersten.
