Out in Spring Creek, in North Carolina’s Madison County, Ali Tisdall spends her days caring for all kinds of animals from morning until night.
She adores every one of them, but dogs have always meant something extra to her. That love led her to start helping local dogs who needed someone in their corner and a safe place to land.
What started small did not stay that way for long. As her work grew, she also launched Pretty Sweet Acres, an online store made for farmers and people who love rural life.
Even so, the most surprising chapter came later, after goats became part of the farm and brought along a moment Ali never could have predicted.
Goats That Refused To Be Left Behind

Several of the dogs Ali rescued eventually became full-time residents on the farm.
One day, she set out for an easy run along the rural road near her home, expecting nothing out of the ordinary with her dogs jogging beside her.

When she glanced over her shoulder, she discovered that the goats had fallen in step with them, trailing behind as if they had been invited.
The sight made her laugh, and she pulled out her phone to capture the strange procession before posting it to her Instagram account, @prettysweetacres.
“I guess I run with goats now 🐐,” she wrote in the video caption.
In the clip, her voice can be heard saying, “My goats won’t stop following me, you gotta be kidding,” as she keeps up her pace, sounding both amused and slightly bewildered.

Other farm animals watched from their enclosures as the group passed, and confused drivers eased by, trying to figure out what they were witnessing and probably thinking, “What is going on here!?”
By the time she finished her run, Ali realized that the unplanned jog with her goats had become one of the most entertaining moments she had ever experienced.
The Accidental Herd That Went Viral

Travelers on the country roads of Madison County saw the odd parade with their own eyes that afternoon.
Once Ali uploaded the footage, thousands more enjoyed the ridiculous scene from afar.
“This is hilarious 😂,” one commenter wrote, while another added: “The dogs are wondering why the goats get to be off leash 😂.”
“This is the only run club I want to be a part of,” someone else chimed in.
The whole ordeal gave her the idea to introduce the Goat Run Club, which quickly became the most playful addition to Pretty Sweet Acres. What began as a random bit of chaos now brings plenty of laughter, and anyone who has seen the video will understand why.
