Apparently, not only do some dogs enjoy certain tunes, but they also find it comforting when their owners sing to them.

A woman from Ohio learned that firsthand when she noticed her dog was upset and decided to use a creative idea to lift her mood.
A Simple But Clever Solution
Kathie has cared for dogs most of her life and has become quite skilled at understanding their emotions. She currently has four dogs: Rosie, Jazmine, Frankie, and Jonathan.
One day, Kathie noticed that Rosie was clearly upset with her. She called her name several times, but Rosie refused to respond.
Rosie stayed completely still, refusing to move an inch. That is when Kathie came up with a clever idea. Since Rosie was a puppy, her favorite song had always been “You Are My Sunshine.”
Kathie began to sing it softly to her.
At first, Rosie remained frozen, but her tail gave her away. Despite trying to act indifferent, she could not stop wagging it.
For a moment, Rosie even gave her owner a little side-eye, as if to say the wagging had nothing to do with the song. But Kathie knew her dog too well to be fooled.

Finding the moment funny and sweet, Kathie posted the video on her TikTok channel. Since she regularly shares dog content, it was no surprise that this one quickly went viral.

It really did look like Rosie was trying to act tough while secretly enjoying every note.

Kathie explained that Rosie was mad because she tried to eat the baby bunnies, and Kathie would not allow it. She wanted to apologize but could not let Rosie near the bunnies.

Once Rosie’s frustration passed, she definitely earned a few cuddles. Even when they are wrong, dogs still deserve our patience and affection.
