Frank, a lovable mini Dachshund, has been the center of his mom Jordan Mandel’s world ever since she brought him home to Hoboken, New Jersey.
With all the love and care Jordan showered him with, Frank grew into a cheerful, confident pup. Always friendly and adored by those around him, Jordan believed dog parks would be the perfect place for Frank to thrive, play, and make plenty of furry friends.
But during one visit, something unexpected happened—and it left both Frank and his mom feeling heartbroken.
Frank Notices He’s Been Left Out

On that particular day, Frank arrived at the New Jersey dog park full of excitement. He sat contentedly by his mom’s feet, quietly watching the other dogs run and play.
But as time passed, none of the dogs came over to greet him or invite him to join their fun.

Eventually, Frank built up the courage to run toward the group, eager to be part of the action. Sadly, his enthusiasm went unnoticed.
At first, Frank didn’t realize he was being ignored. He trotted toward the other dogs, then took off running, believing they’d chase after him. But when he looked back, no one was there.

The other dogs weren’t interested in playing, and Frank’s joy turned into confusion. It was as if he didn’t exist.
Jordan watched her sweet boy playing alone, and her heart sank. She decided to share the emotional moment on TikTok, adding a lighthearted caption to highlight Frank’s true personality:
“It’s fine bc Frank is more of a people person anyway.”
The video quickly went viral, with viewers expressing how touched—and saddened—they were by Frank’s experience.
Frank Has Plenty Of Pup Pals

Thankfully, that day at the park didn’t tell the full story. According to Jordan, not every outing is like that. Some visits are filled with joy, others are more low-key.
She explained that the dog park is split into two areas—one for larger dogs and one for smaller breeds.
Frank often gravitates toward the big dogs, likely because he prefers their calmer energy.
And when he spots another Dachshund? It’s instant connection. Frank is also drawn to Corgis—possibly because of their similar build and playful vibes.

Wanting to lift the spirits of her followers, Jordan later posted another video —this one showing Frank running joyfully alongside other dogs, playing his heart out and clearly having a blast.
That’s the version of Frank everyone loves to see: tail wagging, playful energy, and surrounded by companions who match his enthusiasm.
Because, in the end, every dog deserves to feel included—and Frank’s sweet spirit proves he’s always worthy of love and friendship.
