Most of the time, when abandoned dogs are spotted, they are curled up under a bridge, tucked into an alley, or hiding in a cardboard box.
This is usually because they prefer to avoid people who might mistreat them.
Dogs rarely choose unusual places to rest, but the pair in this story were found in a spot that no one could have imagined.
Puppies Found Huddled In A Trash Can

After finishing a long day at work, Brittany Wolfe stopped by her neighborhood gas station in South Florida.
As she stepped out of her car, something odd caught her attention near a trash bin. Curious, she walked closer and was stunned to find two tiny puppies crammed inside. The sight left her horrified.
Knowing her husband might not believe such a shocking discovery, she pulled out her phone to record everything, then gently placed the pups in her car to take them home.

It was obvious they had been eating scraps from the garbage, and the spoiled food made them sick.
One of the puppies even vomited in the car, but Wolfe didn’t care. She rushed home, determined to feed them properly and give them comfort.
A Happy Update For The Two Pups

Once back at her house, the puppies devoured a big meal, proving just how long it had been since they’d eaten real food.
Wolfe quickly realized one was a male and the other a female.
She knew she couldn’t keep them permanently, but she agreed to foster them until loving families could be found.
Not long after, Wolfe shared a wonderful update. The female puppy was adopted by one of her daughter’s friends, and the male went to a close friend of Wolfe’s.
Although the male pup had to be rehomed once more after not fitting in with the household, he soon found the right family in South Florida.
Both puppies finally ended up in safe, caring homes, exactly what they needed after the ordeal they had endured.
