Heather, a devoted dog mom, was initially upset when she realized her fiancé, Alex, had forgotten to check on their dog’s crate before heading out. She’s always careful to ensure Ernest, their miniature Dachshund, is comfortable and secure, but this time Alex missed a step.

Heather dislikes leaving Ernest alone for long. Over time, she noticed her mini Dachshund relaxes best when he stays in his crate while she’s away.

Because of Alex’s forgetfulness, Ernest and Louis spent about five hours together in the crate. Fortunately, neither seemed bothered by the situation at all.
At first, Heather was shocked and slightly annoyed to see them confined together, but that feeling quickly turned into amusement. The two seemed perfectly content: no growling, no panic, just calm companionship.
They had water, a cozy blanket, and a soft bed, turning the unexpected situation into a peaceful nap time.
