Lauren, from Florida, had always dreamed of having a dog. But with a full-time office job, she knew it wasn’t possible.
Everything changed when she switched to remote work. That’s when she decided it was finally time to adopt — and Milo, a sweet Cavapoo, became part of her family.

That moment came when she went out for dinner with a friend. As much as she enjoyed her evening, she couldn’t stop missing Milo and worrying about what he might be up to.

In the clip, Milo didn’t tear anything up or cause chaos. Instead, he simply sat patiently by the door — right where he had last seen his beloved mom — waiting for her to return.
“Was worried he’d destroy the apartment when I was gone, then checked the camera…” Lauren wrote in the video. In the caption, she added with relief: “Sooooo I’m never leaving again.”
