We all know that dogs can sometimes have habits that become very endearing after a time, and it’s something that will always stay with us even when they are gone.
These funny little moments mean so much to us, and it’s important to treasure them. However, even though dogs are known for their hilarious habits, some are downright strange.
I have seen some in my dog. He always liked to chew on tires for some reason, which is why we always made sure to keep him far away from any kind of vehicle.
This pup from Tennessee had an even stranger habit, and it shocked her owner when she realized that it was going to become a regular occurrence.
What Is She Thinking?
When Ginger gave birth to her second litter of puppies, her owner, Savannah Pierce, noticed that the pup started doing something rather odd.
She keeps bringing her puppies and giving them to Pierce. Anytime she walked into the room, Ginger ran to give her one of the puppies.
Why she did this is truly beyond me, and I assume that not even Pierce really knew in the beginning. The assumption is that she feels like part of the pack with her human family.
That would kind of make sense, and it also explains why she wants the babies to always be near Pierce. She feels that they are safe with her.
What’s particularly funny about this habit is that Pierce often takes the puppies back to their bed, and Ginger just kind of ignores that and keeps bringing them.
This has occurred numerous times for this family, so they just got used to it until the puppies slowly started growing up.
It’s Oddly Wholesome
When you put things in perspective, this entire thing seems pretty wholesome, and the owner from Tennessee thought so, too, so she posted several videos where Ginger did this. These videos drew a lot of attention and got millions of views.
One person commented: “I’m a breeder and she is telling you she doesn’t like you to be so far away she wants her pups and you to be in the same room.”
That makes it even more adorable. It’s comforting to know that our pups feel so safe in our presence that they want us to safeguard their puppies.
Another person said: “This is ME trying to give my kid to my mom so I can have a bit of peace.. so please take the freaking puppy.”
You know, that might actually make sense, although the puppy she brings isn’t the only one, as there are many of them, so Ginger doesn’t get a lot of free time.
Lastly, somebody commented: “Please tell us you got that puppy checked out. I feel like she is worried about that one. Unless she’s bringing them all to you.”
Pierce later clarified in a comment that nothing is wrong with the puppies. She just likes bringing the puppies to her favorite humans. It’s as simple as that.
In the end, this brief clip showed us just how attached dogs get to us and how much trust they place in us when we treat them right.
