It takes so little to help out a stray dog in need. They don’t require a lot of food or water. Even giving them a little can keep them going for a long time.
However, it’s always better to just call animal control or rescue organizations that can help them by taking them to the shelter and giving them a new chance.
This can change everything for them and then they might change someone else’s life too. It’s small decisions like this that ultimately make the world a better place.
When this woman from Connecticut heard a strange noise coming from a barn, she knew right away that she couldn’t just ignore it, so she went to investigate.
So Many Furry Surprises
After opening the barn door, the kind woman was shocked to see five small puppies inside. It looked like they were just abandoned there.
They all seemed to be sick, so the woman called rescuers for help. A volunteer from Lucky Dog Refuge CT named Stacey, came to the scene as quickly as possible to help.
She took all of the puppies and got them to the shelter so that they could receive the medical help they desperately needed.
Stacey noticed right away that one of the puppies, named Moksa, was struggling to breathe properly, and she needed help urgently.
After getting all the medical help for them, Stacey took them to her house in Connecticut and decided to look after them the whole time.
Moksa had to be isolated from her siblings because she was suffering from pneumonia and the woman didn’t want other pups to get infected.
However, that doesn’t mean that this sweet puppy was all on her own. Stacey was with her the whole time, giving her food, medicine and water.
She tracked her progress and was looking out for any signs that the illness might get worse. Despite being sick, Moksa was a very outgoing and happy puppy.
Very Good News For The Puppies
She had so much energy in her, and that surprised Stacey a lot. The kind woman couldn’t wait to reunite her with the rest of her siblings.
Eventually, Moksa did recover completely, and she finally got a chance to be with the other puppies. It was a delightful reunion, and this adorable puppy finally got a chance to play with her best friends again.
She was just so cheerful, and her happiness was contagious. As they were growing up, Stacey noted that the puppies were actually starting to develop their personalities.
At one point, Stacey even received a message from her local yoga instructor asking if she wanted to bring the puppies over during their lessons, and she agreed.
It’s safe to say that the puppies stole the show immediately. Everyone stopped what they were doing just to pet them. It was heartwarming.
This helped raise awareness about these dogs, and Stacey was hoping that they would find a forever home soon. Two puppies were adopted shortly after that.
The other three are waiting, but their time will come very soon. Given how adorable they are, there is no way they won’t get adopted. It’s just a matter of time.
