Daniela, a California resident and dog rescuer, was enjoying a relaxing evening at home when strange sounds coming from outside attracted her attention.
She got out of her house and followed the unusual noise only to discover a little furry surprise waiting outside her gate.
It was a young, shy pup who looked at Daniela with pleading eyes.
Although she was terrified, the dog gathered up her strength to ask the kind-hearted rescuer to let her in. She had nowhere else to go and Daniela was her only hope.
The Pup Finds Safety
Daniela stroked her gently, and at that moment, the pup knew that she had come to the right place. The rescuer gave her some kibble and the dog, later named Bitsy, began munching the food and wagging her tail.
The big-hearted woman took her inside, fed her more food, and gave her water.
After Bitsy ate, Daniela took her to the bathroom and bathed her.
The pup had a collar around her neck and her rescuer believed that she was abandoned. Daniela was also certain that Bitsy was an outdoor dog since her fur was covered in motor oil and vegetation.
Once Daniela cleaned her up, Bitsy covered her with sweet kisses. She was so grateful to her hero for taking her in. Her eyes melted with love as she looked at Daniela.
Since Bitsy was still scared, the rescuer assumed that she was mistreated in the past.
Surrounded with love, the pup started decompressing and realizing that good humans exist.
After a while, Bitsy became more relaxed. She began doing zoomies and playing with toys.
Since Daniela’s dog was jealous of Bitsy and refused to accept her, Daniela started searching for a rescue that could take the pup in.
Bitsy Moves Into A Foster Home
Luckily, 4 Paws Kiddo Rescue, a rescue in Los Angeles, California, stepped in to help. They promised to take Bitsy into their care.
Bitsy was taken to the vet where her secret was uncovered. After the vet examined the pup, they revealed that she was pregnant.
The pup moved in with Sarah, an amazing foster who will help the pup deliver her babies in a loving home.
It wasn’t easy for Daniela to part ways with sweet Bitsy but she knew that she would be in excellent hands.
Bitsy feels happy and relieved that she is no longer on her own.
She can’t wait to welcome her babies into the world and start searching for a great family who will adopt her.
I’m certain that Bitsy and her future puppies will find amazing forever homes.
