Jina and Nick, a couple from New Jersey, recently experienced that firsthand. Alongside their newest family member, a baby Dachshund named Wilbert, they went viral for a moment that was both heart-melting and hilarious.

Equal Parts Funny And Adorable
After a long thirteen-hour weekend shift, Jina couldn’t wait to finally get home and unwind.
She and Nick are proud pup parents to two adorable Dachshunds: Amber and their tiny two-month-old baby, Wilbert. Naturally, Jina expected to come home to a warm welcome from her fiancé and their pups, followed by a quiet, relaxing evening.
But instead, what she found waiting in the bathroom left her speechless in the best way possible!
As she stepped into the house, she noticed that Nick and Wilbert were nowhere in sight, until she peeked into the bathroom. And that’s when she saw it: Nick in the tub, giving their new puppy a swimming lesson!
“Rich because after a stressful work day, I come home to my fiancé teaching our puppy how to swim in the bathtub,” Jina wrote in the video.
Nick was gently supporting Wilbert in the water, guiding him as the little pup kicked his legs, looking up at his dad with absolute love and trust. And the best part? He genuinely seemed to be enjoying it!
In the next clip, Wilbert takes a swim all on his own—paddling across the tub like a pro.
Clearly, Nick’s spontaneous training session was a success. Wilbert graduated from his impromptu “swimming class” with flying colors!
Jina couldn’t keep the sweet moment to herself, so she shared it with Amber and Wilbert’s followers. Unsurprisingly, the internet was smitten — within minutes, the comments came pouring in.
