Dogs are famously friendly, winning over nearly everyone they meet. While they often bond most deeply with one or two special humans, their hearts are big enough to love many.
That is why starting over can still hurt. Even a cheerful pup can feel lost when shuffled from place to place. Bonds matter, and constant change is tough on any dog, no matter how happy they seem in the moment.
So when one California woman got a call about a dog tethered to a sign near a neighborhood park, she hurried over. The story she uncovered left her stunned.
