That’s why one family from Ohio knew that it would make their dog incredibly happy if they announced that they were visiting their favorite people.

When Katie Marielli talks to her golden retriever, named Nova, she usually knows that the pup is listening when Nova tilts her head.
She also does a very weird thing with her teeth that is hard to describe. The family calls it the ‘listening teeth’ because it shows she is paying attention fully.
On one occasion, Katie decided to visit Grandma in Ohio, and it was time to break this news to Nova. She prepared her listening teeth while her mom gave the announcement.
In an instant, you could just tell that Nova was smiling, but she wasn’t showing her happiness immediately because she wanted her mom to finish her sentence.
After realizing that they were going to visit grandma and grandpa, she started sprinting around the house. Her happiness was palpable.
She stopped at the couch and gave them a look that was basically saying: “So, are we going or what”?

Now that the visit was done, the family wanted to post Nova’s funny reaction to the news on the dog’s TikTok channel. Her wholesome reaction did not go unnoticed.
