As much as we’d love to understand, there’s an adorably secret part of the child-dog relationship that only this duo can reach. It’s their little world, where only the two of them exist and “speak the language” of their own. And it’s beyond cute!
When Erica and Frank, a couple from New Jersey, brought Beau, their Golden Retriever, into their lives, they knew how important he’d become. What they didn’t know was how precious Beau would become to their toddler, Frankie.
In their own world, Frankie and Beau have their own little games they play. However, their recent “game,” while completely harmless and sweet, left even their parents confused — until they finally understood what it was about.
Just Helping His Big Brother Out
One thing is for certain: Frankie and Beau are best friends! In fact, they’re more than that. They’re brothers!
Their relationship consists of endless love, adventures, and games, and the recent one sparked a little mystery on social media, all due to a hilarious video Erica, Frankie’s mom, took.
The other day, she caught the duo playing a bizarre game: Frankie was trying to put a plushie doughnut on Beau’s snout, as if placing a ring on a cone.
While attempting to do it, Erica couldn’t quite figure out the reason.
“Why does he keep putting that toy on his head like that,” the video text reads.
Then, she realized!
It was because Beau loved it!
“Because that’s where he likes it,” the text continues.
In the next part of the video, the New Jersey woman shows Beau with the plushie on his snout in all kinds of situations.
He “wears” it while he’s resting on the floor. He wears it while casually sitting on the stairs. He wears it on the bed. He’s practically obsessed with it!
So, it wasn’t really bizarre.
Frankie was just helping his older brother out! Who could blame him?
Never-Ending Bond
This strikingly beautiful Golden Retriever and his little hooman brother have shared an unbreakable bond since the moment Frankie was born.
While his family knew Beau was a genuinely friendly dog, they weren’t quite sure how he, as “the only child,” would accept Frankie. But then, it happened, and he’s been the sweetest older brother ever since.
“I wasn’t sure if he’d act different having a baby around 24/7 but he embraced Frankie with open paws from the very first day we brought him home,” Erica wrote in the post.
Today, the two can’t imagine life without each other. Frankie and Beau do everything together. They play, sleep, take on exciting little adventures together, and their mom couldn’t be happier.
“Watching Beau and Frankie’s bond grow stronger every day is something I’ll never take for granted. I’m beyond blessed to see my two boys build such a beautiful relationship,” she concluded.
