A Tearful Surrendered Pup Who Started Losing Hope Of Finding Love Receives The Most Unexpected News

I wish all dogs lived a happy and carefree life with owners who love them infinitely.

Every pup truly deserves to wake up every day wagging their tails with joy and cuddling with their parents.

Sadly, there are many canines in shelters who have a hard time finding loving humans.

Nyla, a two-year-old Rottweiler, arrived at the Humane Society of Broward County in Florida after her breeder surrendered her.

As soon as she was admitted to the shelter, the staffers fell in love with her adorable personality.

Nyla hoped to meet humans who would give her the love that she never experienced in her life.

Since the shelter staff was enchanted with Nyla, they believed that she would soon find a great home.

Unfortunately, the potential adopters couldn’t realize how sweet and gentle Nyla was during their short visits to the shelter.

Shelter pets have a small window within which they need to make an impression on visitors.

Nyla felt sad because nobody seemed to notice her.

She curled up on the floor of her kennel with tearful eyes and a worried expression on her face. Nyla began losing all hope of leaving the shelter in the arms of her parents.

After her shelter friends saw that Nyla became hopeless, they knew they had to do whatever it took to help her.

The staffers shared a video of Nyla on the shelter’s social media, saying that she started “losing hope and shutting down.”

Many people felt brokenhearted after they watched the dog’s footage, which shows sorrowful Nyla lying in her kennel.

At the time, a family who lived in St. Augustine, Florida, wanted to give their home to another dog after their Rottweiler named Benjamin went to doggy heaven.

They were looking for a companion for their other dog, Soldier, who missed his doggy friend.

“Their current dog, Soldier—a Rottweiler who is nearly 3 years old, has been very depressed since his best friend died. He would cry at the TV when he saw animals on the screen,” Cherie Wachter from the Humane Society of Broward County told Newsweek.

When the family came across the video of hopeless Nyla, who desperately needed a home, they reached out to the shelter.

The wonderful family happily made the four-hour trip and arrived at the shelter to meet the sad doggo.

Nyla Gets A Second Chance

Nyla was thrilled to meet her prospective mom, Katherine, and Myla, her human sister. She was smiling from ear to ear.

Katherine gave the canine a loving motherly hug, and Nyla kissed her face. They fell in love with each other.

Before officially adopting Nyla, Katherine and Myla needed to see whether Soldier would get along with the adorable pooch.

Luckily, they didn’t need to worry. Soldier loved Nyla as soon as he met her, and the lovely canine became a permanent member of the family.

She and Soldier love playing together. They became inseparable

Soldier feels much happier now that he has a new best friend, and Nyla is overjoyed because she finally found the loving home that she always dreamed of.

Nyla’s new family was emotional after they realized how much happiness the canine brought into their lives.

“Katherine and her daughter have cried happy tears about their family member and what a miracle she is for them. And Soldier has a sparkle back in his eyes and is so happy now,” Wachter added.

Nyla lives her best life with her family who adores her. She fit into their lives like a missing piece of the puzzle.

@humanebroward Oh sweetie 🥺🥺   Nyla is losing hope and shutting down. With so many other dogs available for adoption, Nyla wonders if anyone will ever notice her? 🙏 Her former owner used her for breeding, and now that he is done with her, he surrendered her to the shelter.   This 2-year-old 94 pound beauty is on a mission to find her forever family where she will be loved as she deserves. 🏡💖 Nyla adores meeting new people, snuggling up with blankets and plush toys, and tasty treats. Plus, she's got quite the charming personality—friendly, affectionate, and always ready for a new adventure.   While Nyla gets along well with adults, kids, and other dogs, her size suggests that a home with older children might be the best fit. This big girl is as gentle as they come, and her loving nature shines through in everything she does. She's house-trained, loves exploring during outdoor playtime, and enjoys playing in a baby pool. Nyla is hoping you’ll be the one to notice her and give her a real chance at love ❤️   To meet me, Nyla (ID 679799) or any other pet visit www.humanebroward.com to complete a pre-adoption application and then stop by the Humane Society of Broward County located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
