An Unexpected Guest
A family’s safety is a top concern for any father. So when Jack’s wife, Emily, woke him up at 4 a.m. saying, “Our baby’s fine, our one-month old is fine, but there’s a puppy in our house!”
He hurried into the living room and found a Lab mix puppy, skinny and frail, her ribs clearly visible from lack of food.
Jack quickly searched the home to be sure no one had broken in or was hiding. All the doors and windows were closed, and he was left wondering how it was possible.
