You never know when you might encounter an animal in need. While our four-legged canine buddies are the most obvious abandonment cases and require special attention, other animals also need our help.
Recently, the staff from San Francisco’s Chase Center, a sports and entertainment arena, stumbled upon a stunning sight: two tiny, fuzzy creatures were trapped in the building’s wall.
With their bodies stuck between the tiles, the little animals were desperate for help. Fortunately, the team of rescuers acted promptly, but the surprises didn’t end there…
Tiny Babies In Need Of Help

When the staff at the Center spotted movement inside the wall, they immediately rushed into action. After observing the furballs more carefully, the staff realized they were baby raccoons stuck after falling from the nest situated at the top of the wall.
The staff contacted San Francisco Animal Care & Control. However, by the time the rescuers arrived at the scene, the staff had managed to secure both raccoon babies.
Then, another shock unfolded!
The third baby raccoon was spotted at the same spot. It had a head stuck between the tiles and could barely move.

Ana Keefe and Bri Borg, Animal Control Officers deployed on the site, instantly devised a rescue plan.
“Officer Keefe and Officer in Training Borg got a call that the third baby was mostly out, only the head was stuck,” the California Animal Control shared on Instagram.
Trying not to hurt the raccoon, Keefe was carefully scooching the animal out from the crevice, while Borg made sure to pull the tile piece out as much as possible.

“Officer Keefe changed the baby’s body position and Officer in Training Borg pulled the tile piece out as far as possible, and together they got the baby raccoon free,” SFACC added.
After a few minutes, the third baby was safe, too. The California team couldn’t hide their excitement after the positive outcome.

After a close check-up, they immediately transported the babies to the facility.
Unfortunately, the kits’ mom was nowhere to be found. After scanning the area for a while, the rescuers realized the babies were all alone, and they required constant care.
The good news was that the fuzzy babies didn’t have to wait long for a suitable shelter.
Family Reunited

Thanks to Yggdrasil Urban Wildlife Rescue, the kits were provided with a warm, cozy environment. The three babies saved from the Center were joined by their two siblings, making the rescue mission complete.
The entire family was now together, and they were on their way to full recovery.
“The five siblings are recovering at our center. There are three boys and two girls. We’ve named the boys Babyface, Buddard, and Jimmy. Buddard and Jimmy are besties. The two girls are Babyface2 and Tips,” YUWR wrote in an Instagram post.

While still not old enough to be released into the wild, all babies are receiving expert care.
After an appropriate amount of time, all raccoons will continue their lives close to the area where they were found.
