Carla and Laura, sisters from Detroit, Michigan, were traveling with their family through Texas when they noticed a dog sitting quietly off to the side of the road. His fur was tangled and dirty, his body thin and weary, yet he waited patiently in the grass, as if hoping someone would finally see him. And then, the right people did.
A Lonely Pup With No One To Claim Him
The moment they saw him, Laura and Carla pulled over and stepped out of the car. Unsure how he might respond, they approached cautiously. But the golden dog showed no fear, only calm acceptance.
