“How much spoiling is too much?” is a question every devoted dog parent wrestles with. But honestly, can you ever really spoil a dog too much? And why wouldn’t you, when they deserve the world?
One Florida couple clearly agrees with that philosophy—and their adorable display of affection for their senior Lhasa Apso has captured the internet’s heart.
Their daughter walked into their bedroom one day and caught them taking their love for their pup to an entirely new level. What she saw quickly went viral and had millions of people smiling.
Giving Him The Royal Treatment

Namzey Gentso always knew her parents adored their fourteen-year-old Lhasa Apso, Chaktah. But she never realized just how far they were willing to go to make him happy.
Not only do they let him sleep in their bed, but they’ve rearranged everything just to keep him comfortable.

The couple literally gave Chaktah half the bed to stretch out on, while the two of them squeezed together and even shared a pillow—just so their pampered pup could have the other all to himself.
“Guys, my parents are sharing a pillow so our senior dog can have one for himself, as he deserves. Look at all that space they gave him,” Namzey wrote in the video.
Now, that’s what we call next-level spoiling!
It didn’t take long for Namzey’s video to spread like wildfire. Within days, millions had seen it, flooding the comments with laughter and love.
“There were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded,” one commenter joked.
“Girl that’s their Grandchild, of course that’s his bed,” another added.
Chaktah Lives Like A King

Everything about Chaktah is unique—even his name. Inspired by a Tibetan opera, his owners named him after the king’s dog. And honestly, it couldn’t be more fitting. Chaktah truly lives like royalty in his own home.
This senior Lhasa Apso may be in his golden years, but his charm is as strong as ever. His striking looks and stylish wardrobe make him a little superstar wherever he goes. He thrives on attention, happily showing off during his city strolls.

At home, he knows how to work his charm, too. Whether it’s getting lifted into his favorite chair or claiming half the bed, Chaktah always gets his way—and his parents wouldn’t have it any other way.
They love indulging him, especially now that he’s older and needs extra care. Every moment with him is precious, and they’re determined to make his life as comfortable and joyful as possible.
To them, Chaktah isn’t “just a dog.” He’s family. And in their family, he’ll always be treated like the little king he is.
