Rescuers Were In Disbelief After Finding 101 Dogs Crammed At North Carolina House In Disturbing Conditions

Throughout our journeys, I think we have witnessed many stories where some kind of puppy mill is exposed in the U.S., and then the dogs are rescued.

All the pups usually get medical treatment and a new chance at life. Their captors usually face serious consequences for their actions, and we get some sense of justice in the end.

However, what we will talk about in this story is just downright disturbing, and it’s hard to believe how this problem went on unnoticed for so long.

Apparently, an owner created his own puppy mill at the house and held over 101 dogs trapped inside all the time. Luckily, a phone call would change all that.

A Shocking Discovery At The House

What’s unusual about the phone call is that the Good Samaritan actually reported that many chickens were living in poor conditions on the property.

After the urgent phone call, the rescuers from the SPCA of Wake County quickly rushed to the location and were shocked by what they discovered. It was not just chickens.

There were 101 dogs inside a single house. All of them were crammed in one spot, and they were living in absolutely deplorable conditions.

How and why someone would do something like this is truly beyond me. This level of cruelty is unlike anything I have ever seen.

Some pups were stacked in cages from the floor to the ceiling while others were seen walking around the tight and horrible spaces.

Without wasting a moment, the SPCA rescuers from North Carolina started getting all the dogs out. It took them an incredible amount of time to safely remove them all from the house.

They partnered with Raleigh Animal Control in order to get all the dogs where they needed to be. This was just tragic.

How Did They Even Survive

To make matters worse, a lot of the dogs were surrounded by trash and feces. There were even some pregnant dogs who needed medical attention, but they weren’t receiving it.

The SPCA from North Carolina was able to get 19 dogs into their shelter and start treating them. They were now healing slowly.

Some were moved into foster homes while others were still evaluated. Once they recover, it’s going to be only a matter of time before they are all adopted.

The rescuers continued helping as many dogs as they could, and they consistently updated everyone who was following the story.

Many dogs were now relaxing with people who gave them this amazing chance at a fresh start, and it looks like everything is going smoothly for all of them.

Hopefully, they will all find wonderful families who will love and treat them the way they have always deserved.
