It’s not easy to take care of a dog. A lot of people do not understand what they are signing up for when they decide to adopt.
That is exactly why it’s important to do research and think things through before you take in a pup, only to realize that you can’t care for it.
Nevertheless, this also shows why it’s important not to judge. Sometimes, people want to help pups, but they don’t have the means to do so. We don’t always know the full story.
When the rescuers were informed about this mama dog and her puppies living next to a trailer in California, they were shocked to learn the full truth.
They Are Getting A Chance
After being informed about the mama dog and her babies, Suzette Hall and her friend Arturo Flores rushed to find this dog family.
They were living with a trailer owner who couldn’t care for them. There were no details on why they were there with him or what their story was, but that didn’t matter at the moment.
The only thing necessary was for these dogs to be saved as soon as possible, and that is what these rescuers were intending to do.
When they asked the trailer owner if they could take this dog family to the shelter, he just agreed with them and that was that.
The rescuers then tried to take the puppies, but there was one big problem. She didn’t like being separated from them, so she was very wary of these people.
They had to gain her trust first, but she was having none of it at first. She was too scared and didn’t like that these people were trying to take her babies.
They Finally Feel Safe
It took some time for the rescuers to convince the worried mom that they were on their side, but they succeeded. The mama dog and her puppies were placed in a traps and were finally safe.
Seeing how attentive and concerned she was for her puppies was just truly heartwarming and it showed that she was a really good mom.
The rescuers took them all back to the shelter in California where they would get the proper help and a warm bed to sleep in.
Mama dog was finally able to eat a proper meal and things will only get better for them from that point onwards.
Hall is hoping that all of these puppies will grow up fast and eventually find their forever homes, along with their mom, who is just the sweetest dog ever.
Looking at how things turned out for them in the end, it’s really comforting to see that these pups were given a chance to start over despite living in rough conditions.
While we don’t know their backstory, the only thing that matters now is that they are safe and comfortable with people who care for them deeply.
