I have seen many abandonment stories, but I don’t think anything has quite made my blood boil like the one we will talk about today.
There is just something so profoundly cruel about what these owners did to their dogs that it’s enough to make anyone feel frustrated and depressed.
Essentially, these puppies were left on their own on the streets of California, but the really shocking sight was what happened to their mother. The rescuer who found them was completely horrified.
How Could Someone Do This?
After the rescuers from California were notified about puppies who had been dumped on the street, a man named Arturo Flores rushed to help.
He knew that they didn’t have a lot of time left, so he tried to be quick. However, after he arrived at the scene, he was horrified by what he saw next.
There were three puppies there and their mother was inside a bag that was completely taped up. She had passed away. It’s hard to tell when this happened or how.
It’s possible that she had passed and was then put in the bag and dumped on the street along with the puppies, and there is the horrifying possibility that she was suffocated in the bag.
Either way, this was just a terrible sight. How anyone could do this to a dog is truly beyond me. I can’t fathom it. I hope whoever did this to them is punished severely.
Arturo was in even more shock after witnessing this, and he was saddened after seeing the puppies walk around their mother.
It Looks Like They Will Be Okay
I don’t think they even realized that she was gone. Regardless, now, he had to think about them. They desperately needed help and they looked like they were starving.
Arturo got closer to the puppies only to notice that they smelled awful. They had a lot of fleas and ticks. Getting them medicine was the first priority.
Shortly after, the kind man was able to get them to come with him. He placed them in his vehicle and drove straight back to the shelter.
They have received medical help and are doing okay for now. Their mom was likely buried, and soon, the rescuers will try to find a new home for them.
Since they are all still so young, finding them a home shouldn’t be that big of a problem. I really hope that everything turns out great for them.
Considering what they just went through, the puppies will need patient and understanding parents who will treat them right.
