“He also has a high fever fighting off his terrible infections. Additionally, he is anemic from his severe worm infestation.” Beagles and Bentleys wrote in a Facebook post.
McKenzie gave him his medications faithfully, but Harry remained withdrawn, curled in his pen, too scared to move.
Patiently, she began earning his trust, sitting beside him for hours so he could grow used to her presence.
Four days later, his fever finally broke. Overjoyed, McKenzie gave him his first soothing bath.
