Mushka is an adorable puppy with a very sad story.
Unfortunately, growing up, this sweet boy had no idea what it felt like to be happy, loved, and appreciated. He was always abused, yelled at, and scared.
“Why does this keep happening to me? Why don’t hoomans like me? All I want is to be loved…”
Mushka had so many unanswered questions and had no idea if he would ever get to live the life he so desperately wanted.
But then, something amazing happened.
Light At The End Of The Tunnel
After being yelled at yet again by a cruel hooman, Mushka decided to run away and hide in a bush. He curled up into a ball, trying to comfort himself, when all of a sudden, he heard somebody calling out his name.
At first, he was very confused because the voice was very calm and sweet, calling him to come out of the bushes. He wasn’t used to being talked to in such a nice way.
Nevertheless, Mushka gathered up all the courage he had and stepped out of the bush, looking at the hoomans who continued talking to him.
The pup, unsure if he should trust them, decided to stay calm and hold so stiff that he almost turned into a statue. But, after realizing that the hoomans were not going to hurt him, he laid down in the wet grass, hoping to get some sleep.
Suddenly, he felt something warm covering his body, and when he opened his eyes, he realized that it was actually a blanket! The hoomans covered him and picked him up, finally taking him somewhere safe.
Finally Safe
Mushka was immediately taken to the vet. When they arrived, this sweet boy was still unsure what to think. He was very nervous and shy, carefully watching what the hoomans were doing and hoping that they wouldn’t yell at him like the others did.
The pup was thoroughly examined and given all the necessary shots and medicine. He was then given some food, which, even though he was hungry, he refused to eat.
Mushka was then taken to an animal shelter where he was able to decompress a little and, after a couple of days, his rescuers started seeing progress.
This sweet boy finally understood that he was no longer in danger, allowing him to come out of his shell and finally start living life.
Going out for walks was his new favorite activity as well as receiving sweet hugs and kisses whenever he saw his loving hooman again.
I am sure that with a little bit more time, this incredible pup will be able to forget all about his dark past and completely embrace his loving future with an incredible family who will show him what being a pup is all about!

Stop Dog Brutality
It is really sad to think that in a world where a dog is often considered a man’s best friend, there are instances such as these.
These loyal companions want nothing more but to shower us with love, happiness, and kisses, and they end up being treated in the worst way possible. Every day, countless innocent dogs suffer at the hands of hoomans, enduring pain that haunts them for the rest of their lives.
So please, stand up against dog brutality and protect our furry friends. Together, we can put an end to this injustice and create a world where every animal is treated with the respect, love, and care they deserve!
