Devoted pet owners often go above and beyond for their furry companions, but some connections stand out in ways that truly touch the heart.
The story of Belly and Hannah is one of those remarkable bonds.
Belly, a tiny Chihuahua born without front legs, first arrived in Hannah’s foster care. From the moment she stepped into the little pup’s life, Hannah was completely enchanted.
Their connection deepened when Hannah surprised Belly with a unique gift: a set of Lego wheels. Belly’s journey to adapt to her newfound mobility soon captured the attention of thousands online.
From Rescue To A Home Filled With Love

Belly was only a few days old when she was rescued from a hoarding situation involving multiple dogs. Rags to Riches Animal Rescue in Florida took in every dog, including Belly, who faced life without her front limbs.
“All the puppies came to us, and sweet Belly was one of them,” the rescue wrote on Facebook.

Though Belly was originally intended to remain with the rescue, she soon found a foster placement.
Hannah Sanders, a dedicated volunteer with the organization, offered to care for Belly temporarily, unaware that “temporary” would quickly turn permanent.

In a short time, Hannah and Belly became inseparable.
The little Chihuahua settled into her new home with ease, earning the affectionate label of a “foster fail.” Their days were filled with play, cuddles, and trust. Belly felt so safe she began sleeping in Hannah’s bed.
Yet there was one challenge: moving around independently was impossible for Belly.
That obstacle inspired Hannah to devise a creative solution that would soon inspire people worldwide.
Legos And Love Lead To Independence

Determined to help Belly take her first steps, Hannah built a custom wheelchair out of Legos.
The initial design had imperfections, but it was enough to spark interest when Hannah shared their progress on her official TikTok.
One viewer, Jeff, was moved by Belly’s story and offered to craft a 3D-printed set of wheels specifically for her.
He eventually created four additional sets, each improving on the last, and Hannah documented the entire journey in a heartfelt video.
“She has come so far. There were a few other sets of wheels through out this time that just didn’t work for her so I don’t include them. Hopefully we will have a brand new set next week,” Hannah stated in the video description.
With each new iteration, Belly grew stronger and more confident.
She learned to move, explore, and play independently, showing the world her determination and spirit.
The video went viral, touching thousands of viewers who followed her journey.
“You loved her to the point of invention,” one person stated in the comment section.
Another person shared their emotional message for Belly and Hannah, saying: “Jokes on you; I planned on crying before bed anyway.”
Although Belly still has more wheel designs to try, she continues to thrive, enjoying life to the fullest with her devoted mom always by her side.
