When Christie Navarre and her Cavapoochon, Lola, decided to go for a stroll, they knew they’d have an exciting adventure. What they didn’t know was what the adventure would be!
They enjoyed the walk, just casually soaking in all the beauty around them, when something completely unexpected happened. A well-known face approached the dog, turning the walk into a memorable surprise!
Heartwarming Reunion
Lola and her mom always have so much fun on their walkies. Being a social butterfly, Lola loves meeting new people and doggo friends.
However, this time, she definitely didn’t expect to see someone so familiar: her littermate Bear!
Accidentally bumping into each other, the long-lost siblings turned this encounter into an epic one!
Bear was on his walkie with his mom, Hannah, so when the two four-month-old puppies saw each other, they instantly remembered! Lola and Bear started jumping with happiness, so happy to be around each other after so much time.
A little into their conversation, Christie and Hannah realized that both dogs came from the same litter in Ohio. And now, they had run into each other again in New York City.
Christie, who took the video of the two “kissing and hugging” each other, decided to share it with her TikTok followers.
“When she randomly ran into her littermate in the middle of NYC,” the video text reads.
The social media response was so heartwarming, with the people emphasizing the importance of a littermate bond that (sometimes) lasts a lifetime.
“Litter mates are more important than “siblings” bc siblings can be from other litters with the same parents. litter mates mean they grew up together and shared the same time with their mama,” one commenter wrote.
Some expressed their hope that this wouldn’t be Lola and Bear’s only encounter, suggesting they arrange get-togethers in the future.
“Fate can be great. Please, please schedule get-togethers for them if you don’t already. They are so happy,” another person added.
Here’s To Many More Memories Together
Fate truly works in mysterious ways, and in the case of Lola and Bear, it was no different!
Their accidental encounter on the street was, indeed, the start of a beautiful friendship. Thanks to their moms who didn’t want to separate the pups for good, Lola and Bear had many more adventures together afterward.
They even celebrated their first birthday together. Needless to say, they had a blast!
The pups got the cake with their portraits on it, hung out with their friends, enjoyed delicious treats, and just played tirelessly for a whole day.
Does it get any better than that? I don’t think so!
There’s no doubt that the pups will cherish their bond for a very long time. Now that they have “discovered” each other, they don’t need to part ways again.
