A Very Sad Day
Max is a very special dog. He was 10 years old when his family was forced to give him up to a shelter.
But, he didn’t understand why. How could he? Max only suspected that something was wrong from the start.
Unfortunately, for him, his owners could no longer look out for him and thought that his best chance of finding a new home was in the rescue shelter, Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
The staff at the shelter treated him really well and did everything to make sure his stay was as comfortable as possible.
They didn’t want him to feel lonely, so they visited him and had him play with other dogs there.
It was clear to them immediately that he was just a well-behaved dog who just wanted a chance to find his family.
Amazing News For Max
Then, the most amazing thing happened. A couple from Sarasota, Tyler and Alexandra, saw Max and just fell in love with him immediately.
They decided to drive all the way to Tampa to adopt him. It’s safe to say that Max was really happy to meet someone who cared for him.
The rescue organization decided to post an update on their Facebook page about Max’s adoption.
Many people who followed Max’s story were relieved to see him get a happy ending after all. The post received over 13 thousand likes.
It’s so amazing to see just how much effort the shelter staff put into helping all the dogs find their forever home.
Thanks to them, Max now has an amazing new home and someone who will treasure every moment with him.
