It’s always been hilarious to see how other animals react to dogs. For some reason, a lot of them are drawn to our furry companions.
Maybe it’s because they can sense that dogs are very friendly and generally just want to make friends wherever they can, or maybe it’s something else.
Either way, small moments like this show us how special dogs can be, and how much influence they have on not just our lives, but the lives of everyone around them.
So, that’s why we will talk about this sweet Husky and his owner, who were just out on a walk when something incredible happened.
What Is Following Them?
It was an ordinary day for Katmai and his owner, who were just out on a walk in Wyoming, when they suddenly stumbled upon a fox who was following them.
They were surprised to even see one near their home, but what surprised them both even more was the fact that the fox seemed friendly.
It looked like the wild animal wanted to make friends with Katmai, and the pup was confused at first. The fox followed them back home, and that was when the pup decided to give it a chance.
The two of them would start playing chase, and they would run around for a long time. It was just wholesome for Katmai’s owner to see him play with someone.
She was also surprised because this sweet Husky lost his best friend Yoyo, who was a cat, and they didn’t think he would recover from it.
Katmai and Yoyo were inseparable for most of their lives. The two of them were best friends, and her loss caused such heartbreak in this sweet Husky.
In fact, when it first happened, his owners saw how sad the pup looked, and they were not sure how to help. They thought about helping him find a new friend, but the time wasn’t right.
Meet Moose!
That’s how Katmai’s mom first got the idea of changing up the scenery, and it’s also where this dog first met Mr. Fox.
This unlikely friendship showed the dog’s owners that he was ready, so they started asking around about other dogs who needed a foster.
That’s how they first met Moose. He was an adorable pup who just wanted a family, and now he had found someone who would temporarily care for him until he found the perfect home in Wyoming.
Or maybe, that’s not the case? Well, after Moose spent some time with his foster family, they quickly fell in love, and they realized that they just couldn’t give him up.
He was officially welcomed into the family, and now Moose gets to live a beautiful life with his new best friend, Katmai, and his amazing family.
They will get to go on so many adventures together, and hopefully even run into Mr. Fox again. I am really glad things turned out so well for them.
