Owner Subjects His Dog To Expensive Treatments Only To Find Out The Hilarious Truth

Dogs are very curious animals and like to spend as much time as they can studying their best human friend.

In many instances, our furry friends will try to mimic something we do because they assume they are either learning something valuable from us or bonding.

In this article, we will talk about a very sweet dog whose actions cost his owner a lot of money, and their story is just hilarious.

Adorable Copycat

When Russell Jones injured one of his legs, he had a plaster cast on it, and he was pretty much limping for a long time.

To make things worse, he also noticed that his dog, Billy, had also started limping, and he just assumed that he also injured his foot somehow.

This obviously meant that he had to take him to a veterinarian clinic so they could check out what exactly was wrong with him.

A grave mistake was made after the vet finished doing an X-Ray, as Jones had a $300 bill now and there was nothing wrong with Billy.

The real answer as to what happened is much more hilarious. He was copying his owner’s movements.

We don’t know the real reason why, but I assume he did it to show his best friend that he is there for him.

A Hilarious Video

Jones also posted an example of this on Facebook to show everyone what he meant, and everyone just loved it.

The video went viral and received a lot of positive reactions, as most people noted that Billy was doing that out of compassion. I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment.

In his post, he said: Cost me £300 in vet fees and X-rays, nothing wrong, just sympathy. Love him.

While his acting did cost them a lot of money, they just laughed it off, and his little performance is something they still love talking about.

Fast forward some time, and Billy had a health issue, so the veterinarians had to remove his dew claw.

The procedure and everything turned out okay for the dog, but he now had a real limp, and Jones thought it was a funny situation, so he posted another video on Facebook.

In it, he said: What goes around comes around Bill.

Heartbreaking News

Despite the fact that Billy’s parents really cared for him and gave him everything, his health problems had taken a turn for the worse and he passed away in 2022.

This was heartbreaking news for the family and for anyone who knew the family and the amazing dog, Billy.

Jones then posted an update on Facebook to let everyone know about it and his statement was just a real tear-jerker.

He said: Hi everyone, I wanted to tell you here that my Billy ran over the rainbow bridge today. He had lung cancer and it was time to say goodbye.

I wanted to tell you on here because this is where our 5 mins of fame began. Love you Billy and you’ll never be forgotten.
In the end, Billy lived a long and happy life, with an absolutely amazing family who cherished every moment they had with him. His amazing story will never be forgotten.
