Arizona Owner Took Her Lonely Dog To The Daycare Not Realizing Everything Was About To Change

It’s pretty common for many dogs to feel lonely if they are the only pups in the house. I mean, sure, they love us and can’t wait to spend time with us, but there are things we need to take into consideration.

The main problem is that most dog owners spend a lot of time at work, or running errands, and as a result, leave their dog on its own for long periods of time.

Our furry companions are social animals and they need mental stimulation. Some need it more than others, and loneliness is a big problem for them.

This owner from Arizona also noticed that her dog was feeling the same way, so she decided to take her to a daycare, only to realize something surprising.

A New Friendship For Maggie

All of the problems for Maggie started when her mom, Isabella Moranda, noticed that the dog was starting to lose her appetite.

The problem for them was that Moranda’s husband, Jake Hanson, was in the NFL and was not home often, and Moranda also had work, so their pup was really lonely.

After first taking her to the daycare in Arizona, she had no idea what to expect. To her surprise, Maggie loved it and her mood changed in no time.

Shortly after, Moranda learned that Maggie had actually made a new friend there, named Gus. The two of them were inseparable at the daycare, and that was just great to see.

However, behind this friendship was a tragic story. Gus was actually surrendered to the daycare by his former owner, who had terminal cancer and could no longer care for him.

Moranda was heartbroken after hearing this story, but it also helped her because she had a brilliant idea.

Gus Has Adapted In No Time

She and her husband were already pondering the idea of getting another dog, so she thought it would be great if she gave Gus a chance because he and Maggie were getting along great.

The owner actually contacted them because he wanted to make sure that his beloved dog was going to the right family. He even sent them pictures of Gus.

Shortly after, their adoption application was approved, and the owner was glad to see his dog was in the right place. Gus was already adapting to his new life.

Since he was used to seeing Maggie every day, the change was visible right away. Moranda also contacted the previous owners to let them know how well Gus was doing.

His previous owners shared that this pup was actually adopted quite a few times and that they were his third family. They were hoping that Moranda will be the last owner because they want a good life for their pup.

Given how quickly he has transformed, there’s no doubt in my mind that he will live a long and fulfilling life with Maggie and her family.
