One day, Chloe’s owner, Jessica Barrera, decided to put her dog to the test on a busy street to see if she’d recognize her. With no idea what to expect, Barrera simply sat on a bench, waiting for the moment to unfold.

They say Chihuahuas are nothing but tiny, fierce, and grumpy creatures ready to start a fight at any moment! Well, looking at Chloe, this couldn’t be further from the truth!
This teeny-tiny social butterfly proved her loyalty to her owner once again when she recognized her in the crowd just feet away. Jessica, who agreed to meet her boyfriend and Chloe in front of her building, waited on the bench to see if Chloe would recognize her scent.
“Sat on the bench on my dog’s walk path to see if she’d recognize me,” Jessica wrote in the video she posted on TikTok.

While, at first, she seemed a little distracted by all the unfamiliar faces, Chloe soon showed her brilliance.
As soon as she smelled her mom, she started squinting her eyes, as if she knew Jessica was somewhere nearby. A moment later, she even passed by her bench and still didn’t see her.
