Most dog owners think their pup is a beautiful little angel who can do no wrong. Oh well, isn’t that the biggest lie we tell ourselves?
We all know that they are very lovable and playful, but they can also be really naughty, and they regret absolutely nothing about it.
I remember when my dog would act out by chewing on things he isn’t supposed to or by just breaking stuff. Then, he would give us the ‘guilty’ look and we would always forgive him.
Make no mistake, they are adorable little rascals and that’s why we love them. This Virginia owner went through something similar with her pup when she checked on her pet camera to see if he was sleeping only to witness something shocking.
Well, Isn’t He Naughty?
When Kathryn Summer went to work, she left her Golden Retriever, Duke, in the home, expecting that he would just lie on the couch and sleep.
Well, that was her plan, not his. When she went to work, Duke initiated his grand plan of running around the house and making a giant mess.
Kathryn checked on her pet camera because she was hoping to see her good boy sleeping, but that was definitely not the case.
Instead, she saw him running around, and jumping from one sofa to another. He was also jumping around a dishwasher and climbing on a kitchen counter.
Duke also later thought it would be fun to chew his dog bed in front of the camera and inspect the wires connected to the pet camera.
Maybe he figured out that he was being recorded, so that was his attempt at getting rid of all the evidence. After all, who can prosecute Duke if there is no evidence?
Internet’s Response To Duke
When this owner from Virginia witnessed all of this mess unfold, she couldn’t hold back her laughter. It was just hysterical, so she wanted to share it with everyone by posting it on her TikTok channel.
People shared her reaction to Duke’s antics, and so many people went to share their thoughts in the comments.
One person commented: “Not him trying to unplug the camera for his grand finale.”
If he figured it out, then he would be able to make an even bigger mess and no one could blame it on him. After all, there was nobody there to see it.
Another person said: “Having a red golden has made me question everything I’ve ever done wrong in my life. He’s so fucking nuts. He’s lucky he’s cute!”
Yeah, having goldens requires a certain amount of patience because they are so energetic and will always look for something to do, even when you are just tired and want to rest.
Lastly, somebody commented: “Goldens only have 2 speeds. Pure chaos or sweet angels. There is no in between but that’s why we love them!”
That is definitely true, and I think that is the main reason why a lot of people choose to adopt them.
Either way, this short video gave me and everyone on the internet a good laugh and it’s a strong reminder of how our dogs can be sweet little angels most of the time, but who knows what mess they are making when we are not there. It’s just funny to think about.
