No dog should face the sorrow of being rejected and abandoned.
And yet, regrettably, a lot of dogs go through that heartbreaking ordeal.
Pablo, a sweet little puppy, was one of them. Local people found him in a ditch with another dog in Ten Mile, Tennessee.
They tried to help both dogs, but the other pup ran away. Fortunately, Pablo seemed to have understood that he needed help, and he let the kind-hearted people rescue him.
The people noticed that his eye was injured, but they didn’t know what had happened to him.
The couple took Pablo to their home and let him recover. Since nobody claimed him, the good humans started helping him find a home.
Pablo’s Luck Changes

The people who were caring for Pablo told everyone that he was looking for a home.
One night, while a wonderful couple, Yolanda and Andrew Bissel, were in a bar, they heard friends of Pablo’s caregivers talking about him.
The couple, who were looking to adopt another dog, got interested in Pablo, and when they saw his photo, they instantly fell in love with him.
Yolanda and Andrew brought Pablo to their Tennessee home and showered him with love. The pup got attached to them pretty quickly, and he reciprocated their love. He always wanted to be next to them.
Pablo made friends with his doggy siblings, two Blue Heelers, who welcomed him to his new home.
The pup made an unexpected best friend, Stewie, the family’s rabbit. The two loved playing together, and the family jokingly admits that Stewie is the alpha of the pack.

Shortly after adopting him, Pablo’s family took him to the vet, who estimated him to be around six to nine weeks old.
The vet checked his eye and determined that he didn’t need any medical intervention at this time. However, he will likely have to undergo surgery and have his eye removed.
A Dream Home

His forever family adores him and considers him the perfect addition to their family.
The puppy doesn’t let having one eye stop him from enjoying life. He loves going on walks with his family, his doggy siblings, and Stewie.

Pablo has a lot of puppy energy. His mom sometimes forgets that he is a one-eyed pup. However, he can sometimes be a bit clumsy, and he occasionally missteps when he starts prancing about.
Yolanda also noticed that Pablo was afraid to be outdoors after dark, and his mom suspects it’s due to his limited vision.

She shared Pablo’s story on her TikTok account, and the post garnered massive attention. The footage showed the pup running after his dog siblings and playing with Stewie.
Everyone was happy because Pablo turned his life around and found a dream home with an amazing family who adores him.
