Ben and his Golden Retriever, Lando, are inseparable. They spend most of their time together at home in Indiana, where Lando’s constant shedding has become a regular part of daily life.
Ben frequently brushes Lando’s thick, golden coat, but recently, something unexpected turned this routine chore into a delightful experience.
One day, after casually flicking a ball of Lando’s fur off the balcony, Ben noticed a few birds swooping down almost immediately. To his surprise, they were excited about the fur he had just thrown.
It all began when Ben shared a viral video with the caption: “How the circle of life actually works.”
In the clip, birds can be seen darting through the air to snatch tufts of fur before they even hit the ground.
Viewers were amazed by the sight, prompting Ben to post follow-up videos to prove it wasn’t just a coincidence.
“Sometimes people don’t believe how quickly these birds will show up when I throw the hair off the balcony, I’ll show you in real time,” Ben wrote in another video.
