Life can be very surprising sometimes, especially when we are talking about dogs. They have a natural talent for startling us with things they are capable of.
Some of them have natural talents that are hard to replicate, or at other times, their uniqueness can surprise us in some ways.
Either way, I think we can all agree that life with dogs is never boring. It’s an adventure that we will always cherish, even when our furry companions are no longer with us.
When this man from Arizona had to move to New York, he wasn’t expecting anything special. However, the moment he crossed from the sidewalk to his door, he realized something shocking.
There Are Two Of Them?
When Kris first decided to move to New York with his dog, he thought that his buddy might feel a bit overwhelmed by the new environment.
However, that was not the case because a huge surprise was waiting for them when they arrived at that place.
He looked into the neighbor’s yard over the fence, and he saw another dog. Naturally, this made both Kris and his dog happy because the neighbor was also a dog lover.
Upon a closer look, he realized that the neighbor’s pup looked exactly the same as Kris’ dog. Now, this was odd because the pup was a German Shepherd and Rottweiler mix, and those are rare.
The fact that the person who lives next door to Kris also has the same dog is just surprising. That sweet dog was already greeting them when they arrived.
Kris hopes that the two dogs will get a chance to play sometimes, but so far, he hasn’t been able to set up anything with the owner. Who knows? It might change sometime in the future.
There Were Many Responses On TikTok
After this fateful event, Kris recorded the two dogs and their brief interaction and thought it would be a good idea to post it on TikTok.
As one would expect from dog videos, it got quite a lot of attention and many people were sharing their thoughts in the comments.
One person commented: “Universal way of letting you know you moved to the right spot.”
In my mind, any place that has a dog who is well-treated is a good place to move to. It’s a universal sign that you have a good neighbor.
Another person said: “No barking or nothing. He said he been looking for his brother for years lol.”
Yeah, even though they had just met, it looked like they had known each other for years. Dogs are just like that. All it takes is for them to meet, and they are already best friends.
Lastly, somebody commented: “That’s not his friend, that’s his twin brother who got separated at birth.”
Well, that would certainly be an interesting twist to the story. Given how many surprises Kris has experienced already, adding a few more is not out of the question.
Either way, this short story just shows us how life can sometimes give us surprises in places we least expect them. I just hope that Kris’ dog and the neighbor’s dog get a chance to play sometime in the future.
